He seems pretty cool. Very ambitious about what he wants to accomplish here, but I like that...finally succeed where others have failed. His ideas aren't new by any stretch, but I think for some reason the brass respects him more than any other donkey they put in his role, so I stay take full advantage and get us those Skins tickets man!!! He's not a micro-manager, which I like, but I don't think I've never had one of those managers anyway. How do you get people to really work for you if your always looking over their shoulder? He comes from the Nuclear Energy world so he is a self described anal person when it comes to procedures and documentation. Oh well, you can't be perfect. He did tell me he values productivity over time worked, in essence work smart not hard. He was even pretty cool about letting me work from home. SWEET!!! I have to wait for my 2 month probation before he even mentions it to the brass, but he's willing to support me if I want it.
All that in just one day...
