Welcome Home...

...to me that is. I haven't posted in over a month. I always have stuff floating in my head that might be interesting to you folks, but most times I don't even want to see a computer once I get home. So I guess I'll do a quick wrap up of the past 30 days.

I went on some trips to Louisiana, Delaware, and Kentucky.
  • LA wasn't as bad as I thought it would be post Katrina.
  • I keep forgetting DE is soooo close to DC.
  • The grass really ISN'T blue in KY!!!!!
Work is going surprisingly well. My new boss and I get along extremely well and he is actually delivering on his promises. Kudos to you, Jeff. (btw...I am going to a Nats game in a luxury suite...just think football starts in like 3 months....heaven.)

My grandfather, whom I haven't seen in 11 years arrived from the Philippines and is staying with my aunt for almost 2 months. It was nice to see him and he got so see all of his US great-grandchildren for the first time. He seemed pretty strong considering his many ailments, that and being 86 years young.

The wedding plans have begun:
  • Its a surprise that anyone knows I am getting married. I have basically told nobody, and for that I apologize. Hey I'm a guy...I only show up where I'm directed!!!!
  • The date has moved a couple of times. I won't get into reasons why because my doctor says my blood pressure should remain low...or lower than steaming.
  • Eloping has been discussed as a easy alternative.
  • One of the bridesmaids keeps threatening to leave her husband (my future brother in-law) so that spot on the alter may be up for grab.
  • My two groomsmen kindly accepted without any drama. Thank you.
  • Vegas has already been mentioned for pre-wedding bible study.
I think that is most of it. When I get back to the office (boss is gone Mon and Tues) I'll have more time to organize my thoughts and give you guys more.
