Wow....I have to say I was duly impressed by the entire movie. I was also loved the personality of the new Bond. I know its kinda unfair to compare, but that's what you get for being #6. He provided all of the suave macho testosterone of Connery, the slick feel and humorous one liners of Moore (my personal favorite), the pure GQ factor from Brosnan, the humanness of Lazenby (but that may be the circumstances of what happens to Bond and not necessarily the actor). All of this while avoiding anything to do with Dalton. They brought back the Aston MArtin with wonderful success. The chase scenes to start teh film were in a word: AWESOME. The running through and over and across the buildings and cranes kept me breathless and on the edge of my seat for 5 minutes straight. One thing I did not enjoy was the idea that Bond now plays Texas Hold 'Em and not Baccarat!?!? Okay so nobody really plays or understand the draw of that game, but we would get it. We know its based on the last digit, so yes a 3 and 2 would beat a 6 and 7. We aren't that dumb. Okay okay, so I'll let this one go because I want you guys to know how great this movie was.
Cheers James...
