So I'm sitting here in paradise, not able to sleep a wink. No its not because of some silly thing like jetlag, or worrying about all the snow back home or because I have to wake up at midnight to watch football...no its because there are great things happening back in F-burg. We are expecting!!!!
Yep, you read that right, we are expecting a new 68 lb addition to our family. Yeah, like Brangelina, we wanted to adopt. He's black, and gray....bout 56 inches diagonally. His given name is Samsung, but once we get him, we are gonna name him Sammy. We are getting his room ready dumping the old crib and making sure all of the lighting is right for him.
The doctors are coming to deliver him on Friday....why oh why did I agree to stay a couple days in Hawaii on my way back from Guam. How irresponsible of a new dad. I need to be there for the delivery. To hold $2's hand as it eases in the world and into our lives!!!! I'll try to make it up to Sammy by spending all my free time with him. I'll be the dad who leaves work just to keep his promises of afternoons and entire weekends together. This solemn promise I make to you Sammy. I love you.
