Wow, what a haul this past weekend. We got tons of presents, some even from the registry. But it made me wonder what the deal is. What is the etiquette in shower gifts? Why do they throw showers anyway? What is the purpose? And why don't men have showers? Imagine the gifts other men would buy. Not the towels or oven mitts.....they'd buy the Nintendo Wii that we so artfully slipped onto the registry at Target. They'd buy the awesomely cool, but ultimately useless kitchen tool.
I need to get married more often....
