Sneaky Neighbors...

Some of you know that $2 and I have put the house on the market at the beginning of last week. My cousin Dennis is our realtor and he created some great fliers to put outside of the house underneath the For Sale sign. I can understand people in the neighborhood interested in what the house is being offered for, especially since there are 3 other houses in this section alone on the market. Realtors would never take the fliers....they have access to all the info, or they could come inside and get their own. I took a stroll around and none of the other places have fliers in front of their houses. All of them have agents that work for relatively small or even just local Realtors. I have a sneaky suspicion that its those neighbors taking the fliers to level the playing field a bit. Maybe its me being paranoid and its kids being stupid, but after the first DAY they were gone, and then we put out more. Next day, gone again. This time we waited til Friday to put more out and they too were gone by Sunday. That was the last of the fliers for now. No matter, $2 just got the first offer for the place last night. YIPPEE!!!! But talk about your low ball offers. What am I saying, we'll be doing the same thing real soon.
